Monday May 11, 2020
Monday May 11, 2020
I sat down with Adam Depmore, the head coach for Lone Star Aquatic Club in Round Rock, Texas, and talked dryland training while swimmers are out of the pool. Lone Star has some really interesting dryland, which you can watch from their practice here.
You can also see some of the coaches demonstrating exercises from home here.

Thursday May 07, 2020
Thursday May 07, 2020
We had an open discussion with Olympic legend Gary Hall Jr about his Olympic experience, what his training was like throughout his career, and dealing with the spotlight.

Hall explains that this was true, and actually had physiological benefits - that was just what he needed that day.
Hall also explained that his reasoning behind the famous behind-the-blocks shadow boxing was not initially mind-games or intimidation, but rather just horsing around and loosening himself up before a big race.
