Harvey explains how she specialized her training heading into the 2020 Olympic Games and found out she enjoyed it, so continued to do so into the ISL season with success throughout each match. Harvey also discusses following her age-group coach, Tom Rushton, to Turkey as a 17-year-old when he made the move to go coach the Energy Standard club at Gloria Sports Arena in 2017.

After earning a spot in the play-offs, Iron's head coach Luka Gabrilo and skins champion Thom de Boer sat down to field questions about the match. de Boer delved into his approach to the freestyle skins race, which he has now won on 3 out of 3 occasions this season, even speaking to his training and how he does a lot of lactate swims in normal training.

Coach Luka explains that their men's B 400 free relay, which went slower than the DC Trident-winning women's A 400 free relay, was a necessary piece of their overall match success. Since Iron was short on sprinters, they chose to put non-freestyle specialists in the relay in order to save swimmers like Luiz Altamir Melo who could score significant points in the 400 free.

Let's just get it out of the way: I was very wrong.

I thought Tokyo and Iron looked primed to move through the play-in match smoothly, but Braden had quickly pointed out that DC was a strong contender not to be overlooked. Flash forward to today. DC is leading Iron for 1st by 50 points. That is not a typo. Braden and Barry both give professional insight and numbers into why this is and the other teams' chances of making the play-offs moving into day 2.
